Erik Mirzoyan is a clarinetist, duduk player and pianist whose international career has been shaped between Moscow and Berlin. The clarinet stands at the centre of his solo, chamber and orchestral work. Performing on both French- and German-system clarinets – a rare command of two distinct instrumental traditions – he moves between contrasting sound worlds, while the duduk and piano give independent voices to other dimensions of his artistry.

His performances have taken him across Europe, the Caucasus, the Middle East and Asia, through major concert halls, opera and theatre productions, international festivals, televised programmes and benefit initiatives. His recording work has brought equal distinction: his duduk album Reflections was named Classical Album of the Year at the 2026 BraVo Awards and included in the GRAMMY Awards longlists for Best Global Music Album and Best Folk Album, while his solo piano album Solitude was longlisted for Best Classical Instrumental Solo.

In 2026, Erik graduated from both the Barenboim–Said Akademie and the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. He now continues at the two institutions through a Master of Music in Berlin and the Assistantship–Internship in Moscow.

Across the concert stage and studio, his work increasingly moves beyond interpretation towards projects of his own. Rather than presenting the clarinet, duduk and piano as separate careers, Erik approaches them as different parts of the same musical identity – each carrying its own language, history and possibilities.
